Lena Meyer-Landrut, better known as her stage name Lena is a Eurovision Song Contest alumnus who represented Germany in 2010. It was the song “Satellite” that has gone five times Gold with it’s sales of over 500,000 units that aided her in becoming the winner that year. She is still maintaining her fruitful and professional career to this very day, embarking on many European tours. Tonight she performs to this adoring audience who are on their feet for the whole performance. “Touch a New Day” brings a cool pop atmosphere to the set, making these patrons dance and clap along. “Taken by a Stranger”, is the somewhat terribly worded title of what is in fact a pretty darn good pop song, which with it’s infectiously catchy melodies, maintains the fun of this set. Lena has a playful yet mature stage presence, with it being very apparent that she loves what she does. We all know that this performance wouldn’t be complete without a performance of the Eurovision winning song “Satellite” which went to number one in six countries.
